No. They accuse the victims of wanting more security than they already have, which is already more than the security the gankers have. They also accuse the victims of being silly victims, even though they have plenty of ways to ensure they aren't, all of which would yield the same increased security the victims clamour for.

Gankers are in highsec because that's where the targets are.
GǪthat would be boring and not nearly as lucrative since the targets are so few and far between. Getting killed isn't really a factor since they automatically get killed if they do it in highsec.

It all ends with CCP losing yet another customer and griefers missing yet another victim to grief. Everybody wins, working as intended.

T2 cloaky haulers exist for a reason (and they can align in 5 seconds), as do freighters and uber-tanked t2 transports.

Next time you can use containers (hide your stuff and increase your cargo capacity), tank your ship with shield extenders, turn back when someone targets you (because he's probably scanning your cargo), find safe trade routes and other hubs, etc.

There's always a first time to be ganked, don't lose heart and learn from mistakes. That's important in New Eden.
